BARRACUDA This rocket was an accident. It was suppose to
be the body section to my scratch built SR-71. It was on sale at a
great price. While I was searching for the other parts, I found some
LOC tubes and I used them instead. I love kits that don't require
wadding. This one has a baffle.

of slicing my fingers open while attempting to cut balsa fins out.

SR-71 BLACK BIRD Another reliable bird. I have flown it
until the shock cord separated from the body. The large wing surface
allowed to to flutter to the ground. Glued it back in and it flys
again. The only real problem with this rocket is that the body tube
doesn't have much room for the chute. I have burned the center
completely out of the chute and it's still more than enough.

X-WING Got to be one of my favorites now. I built it with
LEDs and a 9v battery in the nose. Unfortunately it use to break the
nose on landing. (It's a rear chut ejection) I added a shroud line
near the nose and anchored it to the shockcord. Now it flys down like
an X-Wing. No more nose breaking. There is a night video
of a launch of this bird.

SPACE CAMP This rocket is another lost and found from
BAYNAR. I don't know who made the kit, but it's from the space camp
in the southbay. I have built a xenon flasher for it and installed it
in the payload section. It runs of a single C-cell battery. I get
about 1 flash per second and the single cell should last a long time.
You just twist the nose cone to turn it on. |

Labs SR-71 BLACK BIRD When I saw this rocket, it didn't
matter that I couldn't fly Radio Control. I had to have it. So far I
have had 4 flights with it and I have videos
to prove it. $50 per flight is expensive, but as soon as I have it
repaired, I plan to reduce that per flight cost. It came preassembled
and is made from a plastic coated foam sheet.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Length: 37" Wing Span: 21" Wt: 12oz
